About Us

OUR STORY

Brickwall was started in 2005 by Jon Brichto and Alex Walker who decided to combine their film-making and marketing backgrounds to create a company that was as focussed on client outcomes as it was on creativity. After a lengthy and heated argument over a pint (or three) over what to call their new baby, they simply decided to combine their two surnames and Brickwall was born!

OUR ETHOS

We operated out of a friend's cupboard for a year before moving to Shoreditch in East London where we laid down our roots. Since then we have grown, both in the services we offer and the number of people in our team, but our core principle has remained the same: to provide our clients with a personal, creative and honest service. And it is because of this that our clients have become our friends and their friends have become our clients.

The Brickwall Team

Jon Brichto

Jon Brichto

Managing Director

Jon started his career in charitable marketing before founding Brickwall with university friend Alex in 2005. As Brickwall's sole producer for the first four years Jon was proud to have a cameo on all the company's films during this time. As the company has grown Jon has taken a more strategic role, overseeing Brickwall's expansion across digital channels and into new markets. He does however still take a very hands-on role in all our productions, helping to ensure that all are delivered on time, budget and to our customers' expectations. When not at work Jon can most likely be found battling pixellated super-villans with his two children, Solly & Eliza.
